Job summary

Continuum - St. Louis Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role handles Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Processing, and Account Reconciliations while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily business operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Payroll processing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable accurately and timely.
• Generate customer invoices and statements; monitor AR aging.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain employee data.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closings and reporting schedules.
• Maintain organized records for audits and compliance.
