The role focuses on preparing, reviewing, and entering financial documents to produce accurate P&L statements while improving current processes for greater efficiency. You will ensure the accuracy of intercompany transfers and journal entries to avoid discrepancies, contribute to month-end close, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Proficient in Excel and details-oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Intercompany Transfer Balancing and reconciliation.
• Inventory matching across billing vs receiving.
• Month-end close and journal entries preparation.
• Prepare and maintain periodic financial reporting.
• Support audits and provide schedules as needed.
• Distribute financial statements and respond to information requests.

We are looking for an energetic Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing account reconciliations, calculating and processing journal entries, month end close, balancing accounts as assigned, matching intercompany transfers, helping with audits, and helping improve processes. Our team is very interactive. We pride ourself on helping each other achieve our goals.

Summary:

Prepare, review, and enter financial documents for efficient and accurate creation of the P&L. Review and improve current processes and reports for increase efficiency and accuracy. Ensure accuracy of intercompany transfers and entries to avoid discrepancies.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

Daily Tasks

• Intercompany Transfer Balancing
• Inventory Matching, billing vs receiving
• Process Improvement
• Analyze and reconcile Assigned Accounts
• Prepare and maintain periodic reporting
• Preparation entries for month end

Month End Close

• Calculate and Enter Assigned Journal Entries
• Help build reporting for new system
• AR and Notes balancing
• P&L review including preliminary reports
• Analyze and reconcile Assigned Accounts
• Reconcile Intercompany Transfers
• Balance Accounts between multiple systems
• Response to information requests
• Distribute Financial Statements
• Investigate discrepancies
• Maintain Record Retention

Special Projects:

• As Assigned
• Past Projects included Customer Rebate work, and Unclaimed Property
• Provide Schedules as Needed for Interim and EOY External Audits
• Provide Schedules as Needed for Bank Audits
