RethinkFirst, a market leader in behavioral and mental health technology, seeks a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team. This remote-first role reports to the Controller and supports month-end close and GAAP compliance.

Responsibilities include bank reconciliations, journal entries, and assisting auditors, with a focus on accurate financial reporting and process improvements. A 2–3 year accounting background and strong Excel/ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems like Sage Intacct.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently on deliverables to achieve accurate results.
• Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and maintain clear communication with senior management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other company stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This will be a key role in our accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.

• Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Preferred undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Advanced Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions)

• Experience with ERP system like Sage Intacct preferred.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.

• Ability to work independently on deliverables to achieve accurate results.

• Ability to prioritize conflicting demands and maintain excellent communication regarding deliverables.

• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with members of the senior management team and others within the Company
