Job summary

CFS is seeking a Staff Accountant in Wisconsin to support month-end close, asset management, and reporting improvements in a hybrid work model. This role leverages JD Edwards, ADP E-Time, and Palantir AI to streamline processes and drive efficiency across manufacturing and distribution functions.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of accounting experience or 2–3 years of public accounting, with strong Excel skills and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2-3 years of public accounting audit OR 3-4 years corporate accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities with reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Manage fixed asset processes, capital additions, and system maintenance.
• Review and process purchase orders; ensure ERP accuracy and compliance.
• Support external audits and contribute to special projects.
• Collaborate to enhance reporting and automate workflows using Palantir AI.

Target Compensation:

$70,000 - $80,000

Key Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant

• Play a key role in month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Manage fixed asset processes, capital additions, and system maintenance.
• Review and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance within the ERP system.
• Support external audit activities and assist with special projects and process improvements.
• Partner with the team to enhance reporting and automate workflows utilizing Palantir AI and other technology tools.
