Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior-level accounting resource ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement of the accounting function.
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, variance analysis, and key metrics reporting.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning with leadership.
• Coordinate tax compliance, reporting, and audit activities with external CPAs.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and vendor payments for cash management.
• Serve as a key user/administrator for ERP systems and drive process improvements.
• Provide financial analysis to support cost control and operational efficiency.
• Partner with leaders to provide accurate financial information for decision-making.
• Identify and implement accounting improvements to enhance reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior-level accounting resource, supporting the overall accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the accounting function.
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and key operational and financial metrics reporting.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes while partnering with leadership to evaluate business performance and support profitability initiatives.
• Coordinate tax compliance, reporting, and audit activities with external CPA partners.
• Oversee and support accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and vendor payment processes to maintain accurate records and strong cash management.
• Serve as a key user and administrator for ERP systems, supporting system enhancements, upgrades, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis and actionable insights related to cost control, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
• Partner with operational and business leaders to provide accurate financial information and support informed decision-making.
• Assist with identifying and implementing accounting and process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with experience taking on increased responsibility within an accounting function.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with operational leaders and provide financial insights that support business decision-making.
• Experience preparing, analyzing, and communicating financial and operational data to support organizational goals.
• Strong systems aptitude with experience utilizing accounting, financial reporting, and enterprise business systems.
• Exposure to multi-entity, multi-location, manufacturing, or complex operating environments is preferred.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving, process improvement, and reporting capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
