Job summary

CFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Springfield, OH. The role supports day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer payments, journal entries, and the month-end close.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing accounting experience, hands-on SAP proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate with internal staff and an external CPA to maintain accurate financial records and support longer-term invoicing from quote to project

Qualifications

• Prior staff accountant or similar role in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP and long invoicing cycles.
• Proficient at AR/AP, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Detail-oriented and team-oriented.

Qualifications Of Staff Accountant

• Previous experience as a Staff Accountant, Accounting Specialist, or similar accounting role.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred, particularly experience with longer-term invoicing cycles.
• Hands-on SAP experience required.
• Experience with AR, AP, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
