Job summary

CFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Springfield, OH. The role supports day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer payments, journal entries, and the month-end close.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing accounting experience, hands-on SAP proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate with internal staff and an external CPA to maintain accurate financial records and support longer-term invoicing from quote to project

Qualifications

• Prior staff accountant or similar role in manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP and long invoicing cycles.
• Proficient at AR/AP, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Detail-oriented and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR/AP activities and apply customer payments.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Navigate and maintain accounting activity within SAP.
• Support invoicing for longer-term manufacturing projects from quote through completion.
• Collaborate with internal team members and an external CPA on accounting tasks.
• Help maintain accurate and timely financial records.
