Job summary

CFS in Ohio Lancaster is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to strengthen financial controls, reporting, planning, cash flow management, and operational finance. You will maintain records and support strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with finance, operations, and IT to improve systems, processes, and internal controls while ensuring GAAP compliance and timely audits in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of industrial accounting experience within manufacturing.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Staff Accountant will maintain accurate accounting records, financial reporting, and management information
• The Senior Staff Accountant will evaluate and improve financial systems, procedures, planning processes, and internal controls
• Support cash flow management including receivables, collections, payables, and disbursements
• Partner with operations, finance, and IT teams while supporting audits and compliance requirements
• Complete required administrative work and support employee performance review processes
