Job summary

Wind River Hotel & Casino in Riverton, WY seeks a Finance Clerk to perform balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable and receivables, and data entry in Sage 100. The role supports the Finance Manager/CFO, handles confidential information, and maintains General Ledger files with accuracy.

Two to four years of related experience or equivalent education are preferred, with a high school diploma or GED. Must pass background and drug screening where required.

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Reviews and Updates Vault entries.
• Accounts payable.
• Accounts Receivables/Cash Receipting.
• Assists Finance Manager and/or CFO with bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records.
• Records Progressive Slots liability.
• Retrieves and processes documents requested by third parties including credit card disputes, chargebacks, and returned items.
• Prepares and enters data into the Sage 100 system.
• Maintains and organizes General Ledger files and supporting documents.
• Must always practice and maintain confidentiality.
• All other duties as assigned.

Description

DUTIES

SKILLS

• Ability to uphold the highest level of confidentiality.
• Familiarity and experience with general office equipment, including but not limited to 10-Key calculator by touch, computerized financial systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the Finance Department in the absence of the Finance Manager.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Two to four years’ related experience and/or training preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Must be 18 at time of hire.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs or more.
• Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
• Must have Covid Vaccinations, including booster.
• Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
