Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Richmond, VA, to manage AP, payroll, vendor payments, GL entries, and reconciliations.

You will maintain multi-entity records and oversee project accounting including job costing and WIP schedules. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) with 3–8 years of accounting experience, especially in real estate or construction sectors.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of accounting experience, including financial management.
• Real estate or construction accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel.
• Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction software is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of professionalism, accuracy, and integrity.
