Qualifications

Compile and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions, revenue recognition.

• Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.
• Utilize your analytical skills to examine financial data, identify patterns, and generate meaningful reports that guide our business strategies.
• Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for other managers.
• Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Makes recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
• Supports process improvements related to accounting systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Job costing experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
