Visa Lighting is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities in a manufacturing environment. You will prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and assist with month-end closes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

The role requires 2–3+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Epicor experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-3+ years of experience performing similar duties; preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required; Epicor preferred

Responsibilities

Job description

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization. This role assists with accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop a strong foundation in accounting in a manufacturing context.

MAJOR DUTIES:
