Job summary

Search Masters is seeking a dedicated Accountant to maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and perform month-end closes for a manufacturing environment.

The role requires 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Epicor ERP. You will prepare financial statements, collaborate across departments, and support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Experience preparing financial reports and supporting month-end close.
• Knowledge of financial consolidations and multi-entity accounting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other month-end adjustments.
• Complete account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, group/company consolidations, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and other management reports.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
• Utilize Epicor and other ERP systems to maintain accurate financial data.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation.
• Work with operations and other departments to ensure accurate manufacturing-related accounting information.

• Knowledge of financial consolidations and multi-entity accounting
• Strong understanding of ERP-based accounting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
