Title Midwest, Inc. is searching for a full-time, entry-level Staff Accountant for our corporate office located in Fairway, KS. This position supports the preparation of financial statements and general ledger activity for individual entities within a multi-entity regional company, and assists with reconciliations, month-end close, and financial analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional to build a strong foundation in multi-entity accounting.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements for individual entities, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules as part of month-end close
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with daily bank and revenue reconciliations
  • Support analysis of financial data, trends, and actual results versus budget
  • Develop a working understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll and benefit reconciliation processes
  • Help maintain accurate and organized supporting documentation for audits and internal review
  • Support special projects and analysis as requested by accounting leadership

Education and/or Experience:

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration. 1-3 years of accounting experience is preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
