Responsibilities
- Prepare and post routine and month-end journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and depreciation
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Review and process employee travel and expense reports
- Support billing activities related to third-party and special transaction types
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns on a recurring basis
- Maintain schedules related to corporate and excise taxes
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement
- Support ongoing accounting projects and process improvements as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar general ledger systems
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
