Job summary

Dexian seeks a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, GL, AP, AR, cash, fixed assets, and month-end close. You will work with three Senior Accountants, perform reconciliations, and assist with audits and financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and U.S. GAAP knowledge. This is an on-site position in Boca Raton, FL within a leading talent and technology firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Finance/business degree with accounting coursework acceptable
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong GL, reconciliation, and month-end close experience
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Intermediate/advanced Excel including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and close schedules
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Assist with AP, AR, billing, cash application, and fixed assets
• Prepare financial reporting schedules, trial-balance tie-outs, and account analyses
• Support internal/external audits and PBC requests
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with GAAP and SOX/internal controls

Seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end/quarter-end close. This person will work alongside three Senior Accountants and support GL, AP, AR, cash, fixed assets, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and audits.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Finance/business degree can work with sufficient accounting coursework and experience
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and month-end close experience
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Intermediate/advanced Excel including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis

Strongly Preferred:

• Public company accounting experience
• SOX/internal controls exposure
• External audit support experience
• NetSuite, FloQast, or similar ERP/close-management system
• Multi-entity accounting experience

Key Responsibilities:
