Job summary

Dexian in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close. You will work with three Senior Accountants and assist with GL, AP, AR, cash, fixed assets, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and audits.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Finance/business degree with accounting coursework considered)
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and month-end close experience
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Intermediate/advanced Excel including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and close schedules
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Assist with AP, AR, billing, cash application, and fixed assets
• Prepare financial reporting schedules, trial-balance tie-outs, and account analyses
• Support internal/external audits and PBC requests
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with GAAP and SOX/internal controls

Overview:

Seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end/quarter-end close. This person will work alongside three Senior Accountants and support GL, AP, AR, cash, fixed assets, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and close schedules
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Assist with AP, AR, billing, cash application, and fixed assets
• Prepare financial reporting schedules, trial-balance tie-outs, and account analyses
• Support internal/external audits and PBC requests

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Finance/business degree can work with sufficient accounting coursework and experience

• Intermediate/advanced Excel including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis

Strongly Preferred:

• Public company accounting experience
• SOX/internal controls exposure
• External audit support experience
• NetSuite, FloQast, or similar ERP/close-management system
• Multi-entity accounting experience
