Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and experience with an ERP or accounting system.

Our client is a well-established organization seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash applications
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis as needed
• Support external audits and tax-related requests by providing necessary documentation
• Help maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency
• Assist with various accounting projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus
• Understanding of general accounting principles and GAAP
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month end close
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with an ERP or accounting system
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the broader accounting team
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
