ResiBrands in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is hybrid, full-time, and involves managing day-to-day accounting operations with ownership over financial records and process improvements.

You will support month-end close, reconciliations, intercompany activity, and financial reporting while collaborating with a growing team across multiple brands. A detail-oriented mindset and independence are valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate setting is preferred.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close knowledge.
• Proficient with U.S. GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage general ledger activities: entries, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Review historical transactions and bring outstanding items current.

• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial reporting.
• Collaborate to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and documentation.
• Assist with audit and tax preparation as needed.

About the Opportunity

ResiBrands is growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Austin, TX.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into the details, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work. You'll play an important role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping strengthen our processes as we continue to grow.

We're looking for someone who's comfortable working independently, isn't afraid to ask questions, and takes pride in getting things done right.

What You'll Do

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Prepare bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Review historical transactions and help bring outstanding accounting work current.
• Support accounting activities across multiple entities, including intercompany transactions.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve documentation, and increase efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and standard accounting practices.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting software.
• Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite is a plus.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and work through issues independently.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a growing environment where processes are continually evolving.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting is a plus.
