Job summary

Proof of the Pudding in Auburn, AL seeks an experienced bartender to join the front-of-house team for football gamedays and other athletic events. This seasonal/part-time role will work with the hospitality and club suites, performing bar setup, guest service, and post-event cleanup.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of bartending, TIPs certification, and a strong customer-service orientation. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced venue environment, uphold uniform standards, and contribute to an elevated

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience.
• Must be a team player and a phenomenal communicator.
• Must be experienced in preparing mixed drinks.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be TIPs certified (will accept similar accredited certifications).
• Must be extremely hardworking and organized.
• Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.
• Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/break down responsibilities.
• Sets bar up in a timely manner.
• Communicates well with bar back during event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
• Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.
• Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.
• Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
• Responsible for placing all items back in bar box as originally received.
• Performs other related duties as required
