Job summary

Proof of the Pudding seeks experienced bartenders to join its front‑of‑house team for football game days and other sporting events at Mississippi State University. This role is seasonal/part‑time, working with the hospitality and club suites to deliver high‑end concessions and guest service.

The position requires at least 2 years of bartending, TIPs certification, and strong communication. Expect a fast‑paced environment, flexible scheduling around athletic events, and a focus on exceptional

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience.
• Team player and phenomenal communicator.
• Experienced in preparing mixed drinks.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• TIPs certified (or similar accredited certifications).
• Extremely hardworking and organized.
• Exceedingly responsible and accountable.
• Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.

Responsibilities

• Pre & post bar setup/breakdown.
• Sets bar up in a timely manner.
• Communicates with bar back during event to assist with replenishment.
• Greets guests and provides exceptional customer service.
• Attentive to guests’ needs throughout the event.
• Cleans bar after closing and discards excess ice.
• Returns all items to the bar box as originally received.
