It has expanded into sports and entertainment hospitality services, providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, international boat shows, professional sports teams and more. Proof of the Pudding is the premier food service provider for all premium suites at Auburn University’s Jordan‑Hare Stadium and is looking for stewards to support efficient event logistics and business needs during athletic events. This seasonal/part‑time work is governed by the business needs of Auburn athletics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean kitchen, properly wash, sort soiled dishes, and prep foods as needed. Keep the dish area free of clutter and organized.
- Set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
- Maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift.
- Properly wash, stack, and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
- Change water of machines and sinks every two hours or more often as required and use chemical dilutions set by Ecolab.
- Assist in the timely storage of food deliveries.
- Help deliver food to suites on game days.
- Pre‑bussing and assist in the cleanup of suite areas and kitchen/pantries.
- Maintain trash cans throughout the shift and remove full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift.
- Maintain the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
- Assist with maintaining and organizing china and warehouse.
- Follow the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
- Assist in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must live in or near Auburn, AL.
- 1+ year of experience working in a kitchen or as a steward is preferred; experience in a customer‑service role is preferred.
- ServSafe Certified preferred.

- Ability to work in a demanding, fast‑paced environment.

Work Environment
The work environment involves event operations and working out of the football stadium or similar venues. The position will often move throughout campus and stadium grounds on different terrains.
Uniform Requirements
Adhere to company uniform requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook and your orientation guidelines.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of moving through kitchen, coolers, and storage spaces.
- Traveling throughout the event space in different terrains.
- Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Manual dexterity to operate cooking tools such as knives.
- Physical endurance to work long shifts in a busy environment.
