Job summary

Lincoln Motor Company is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead supplier process containment and drive QR improvements for Powertrain components. You will coordinate QC activities with suppliers, develop leadership-ready materials, and support PAC and DPR reporting.

You will collaborate with the STA site team, participate in PRT meetings, and align with quality teams to prevent shipments and ensure data accuracy across supplier processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent technical/manufacturing aptitude.
• 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to develop and present materials to senior leadership with short timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate part quality confirmation process for suppliers with repetitive containment failure.
• Lead containment of special-cause supplier process -1MIS and 0MIS SIMPSN & BSAQ projects.
• Drive root cause analysis activities with select critical to quality suppliers.
• Align with PRT on Supplier Process SIMPSN & BSAQ issues for Glidepath values.
• Provide early notification to and engage the STA Site team on potential Stop Shipments related to supplier process.
• Provide support in containing supplier Stop Ship issues and track On-Hold/Release process.
• Work with Stop Ship stakeholders to support accurate root cause for PAC reporting.
• Monitor daily production report (DPR) and notify STA management for issues needing site intervention.
• Act as supplier representative and liaison between STA and manufacturing plant management; report containment in PIC Room; participate in PRT forums; lead supplier prep for PQRs.
