Job summary

Lincoln Motor Company is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead supplier QR improvements and coordinate containment of repetitive supplier issues. You will drive root cause analyses with critical suppliers and align with the Powertrain Variability Reduction Team for swift resolutions.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science/Engineering and at least two years of plant manufacturing experience, with the ability to present to senior leadership on tight timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent
2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience
Ability to develop and present materials to senior leadership with short timelines

Responsibilities

Lead critical supplier process to improve QR performance.
Drive resolution of external supplier process issues (3MIS/1MIS/0MIS) and warranty concerns.
Support QR procedures, assist IQ with non-responsive suppliers, and ensure QR/PPM data accuracy.
Coordinate part quality confirmations for repetitive containment failures.
Lead containment of -1MIS and 0MIS SIMPSN & BSAQ projects and drive root cause analysis.
Engage with STA Site team on Stop Shipments and vehicle On-Hold/Release tracking.
Report containment of supplier warranty issues at Daily Plant Quality Meetings and lead supplier prep for PQRs.
