Lincoln Motor Company is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead supplier process containment and drive QR performance improvements. You will participate in cross-functional reviews, drive root cause analyses, and coordinate with STA and PRT teams to resolve warranty issues.

The role requires a BS in engineering and 2+ years of plant manufacturing experience, with the ability to present to senior leadership within tight timelines. A strong focus on quality processes and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science / Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude.
• 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to develop and present materials to senior leadership with short timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate part quality confirmation process for suppliers with repetitive containment failure.
• Lead containment of special-cause supplier process -1MIS and 0MIS SIMPSN & BSAQ projects.
• Drive root cause analysis activities with select critical to quality suppliers.
• Align with PRT on Supplier Process SIMPSN & BSAQ issues for Glidepath values.
• Provide early notification to and engage the STA Site team on potential Stop Shipments related to supplier process (SP).
• Provide support in containing supplier Stop Ship issues. Assist Site STA team with vehicle On-Hold and Release process tracking.
• Work with Stop Ship stakeholders to support accurate root cause for Prevent Action Closure (PAC) process reporting.
• Monitor daily production report (DPR) and provide notification to STA management for issues that require Site STA team awareness/intervention.
• Act as supplier representative and liaison between STA and manufacturing plant management. Support Daily Plant Quality Meetings (PIC Room) to report on containment of Supplier Process warranty issues, participate in PRT forums, lead supplier preparation for PQRs (Powertrain Quality Review).
