Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Ortho Sports Surgery department in a full-time day schedule. You will facilitate safe surgical procedures, prepare the operating room, and pass instruments to surgeons throughout procedures.

The role requires a surgical technologist program completion or equivalent experience; BLS is preferred. UAB Medicine offers comprehensive benefits and a strong team environment in a leading health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency and completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component OR a minimum of 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Associate's degree or technical degree preferred.
