Job summary

Enphase Energy, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Lead for SST products to drive end-to-end certification strategy, from early architecture to market launch. This role requires deep knowledge of MV standards, and the ability to navigate gaps and interpret complex requirements with NRTL labs.

You will embed compliance into design reviews and build a knowledge base to support multiple product generations, while coordinating cross-functional teams toward on-schedule certification.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field.
• Ability to track down the technical 'why' behind standards is essential.
• Experience leading certification testing with NRTLs is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the SST compliance strategy end-to-end from concept through certification and market launch.
• Track the 'why' behind every standard, understanding technical rationale and test intent.
• Navigate evolving standards to identify gaps, overlaps, and conflicts and propose defensible strategies.
• Lead certification testing campaigns with labs (UL, Intertek, CSA, TUV) and manage findings.
• Embed compliance requirements into product architecture and participate in design reviews.
• Build and maintain a living library of standards, interpretations, and test results.
• Drive internal pre-compliance testing to minimize certification risk.
