Job summary

Amazon seeks an Sr Operations Engineer for SSD Operations Integration to own and execute cross-functional projects that expand rapid delivery capabilities. You will drive reliability, design innovations, and end-to-end program management across maintenance, design, and innovation engineering teams.

The role requires deep industrial engineering expertise, strong stakeholder communication, and willingness to travel cyclically with program goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly managing multiple large projects.
• 5+ years of Reliability Program Manager experience.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• 2+ years of CO2 refrigeration applications experience.
• 3+ years in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live phases.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME experience.
• Refrigeration Trade School certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manage high visibility automation programs quality, capacity, and future design innovations to continue to scale the SSD network.
• Work cross functionally with Reliability Maintenance, Design, and Innovation Engineering teams to deliver high complexity solutions.
• Execution of key deliverable timelines for Engineering programs, and meeting specific operational goals identified and aligned with stakeholders.
• Dive Deep into dashboards, automation logs, and resources that provide insight to next steps and problem solving.
• Driving weekly quality and capacity performance of MHE in the network, partnering with operations teams to meet customer promise and cost goals.
