SK hynix Memory Solutions America Inc. is offering a 6-month internship in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on designing and implementing firmware for the SSD Flash Interface Layer, with hands-on work on NAND, ARM, and Linux kernel drivers.

Expect 40 hours per week, starting immediately (Sept/Oct 2026). The candidate should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with strong C/C++ skills and experience in embedded firmware development.

Formación

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with NAND flash commands and operations is a plus.
• Strong C/C++ programming andembedded firmware skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Design & implement firmware for the Flash Interface Layer of the SSD.
• Integrate code with other modules and resolve issues.
• Debug and solve bugs in FPGA/ASIC environments.
• Collaborate proactively with SoC, hardware, and validation teams.
