Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and returning to school after the internship.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming acquired through coursework, projects or internships.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems, firmware development and debugging concepts.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools and LLMs (e.g., Copilot) to support coursework or projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with firmware engineers to develop, test, and enhance SSD firmware features.
• Debug and resolve firmware issues to improve performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement test plans to validate firmware functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality improvements.
• Document firmware features and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
