Job summary

The University of Rochester is seeking temporary dining staff to support Campus Dining in various roles, including preparing sandwiches or hot meals. You will assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and serving students and the public, with rotating shifts and every other weekend/holiday coverage.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of commercial food service experience and be able to lift 40–50 pounds. English reading/writing and following instructions are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the methods of food preparation.
• Ability to read and write English and understand.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• 1 year experience in commercial food service.
• Ability to lift items weighing approximately 40-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Compensation Range:

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
