Job summary

Cisco is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Technical Leader for the Intersight Team. You will drive reliability, scalability, and security of cloud platforms, leading a high‑performing team across multi‑region deployments. Collaborate with product, security, and customers to shape roadmaps and deliver robust SaaS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s +12 years, or Master’s +8, or PhD +5 in related field.
• Experience designing scalable, production‑ready solutions.
• Experience with AWS and IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Proficient in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, networking, security, and CI/CD.
• Strong observability and monitoring skills.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize cloud and data infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure, scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analyses, and drive improvements.
• Lead architectural vision and roadmap, guiding technical strategy.
• Mentor and coach engineers to foster engineering excellence.
• Engage with customers to translate use cases into actionable insights.
• Apply programming skills to integrate software and systems and automate data platforms.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and infrastructure for enterprise-scale deployments.
