Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineering Technical Leader for the Intersight team to drive reliability, scalability, and security of cloud platforms across multi-region environments.

You will mentor engineers, shape the technical roadmap, and collaborate with product, security, and customers to deliver secure, scalable SaaS services. Strong AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, and programming skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with substantial experience.
• 12+ years of related experience or 8+ with a Master’s or 5+ with a PhD.
• Cloud platforms (AWS) and IaC tooling (Terraform/Ansible) required.
• Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, networking, security, and CI/CD experience.
• Observability and monitoring tools proficiency.
• Python, Go, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure for high availability and scale.
• Lead architectural vision and roadmap for SRE initiatives across multi-region systems.
• Mentor teams and promote engineering and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product, security, and customers to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analyses, and postmortems.
• Automate operations to improve reliability and efficiency.
