Job summary
Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior SRE/Tech Lead for a hybrid, full-time role based in Raleigh, NC, with options in Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX depending on client engagements.
You will join the Enterprise Observability and Site Reliability Engineering team to improve reliability, performance, and operational excellence, mentoring engineers and driving automation across cloud and on‑prem workloads.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with observability/monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or Splunk.
- Cloud experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency with scripting and automation.
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments preferred.
- Certifications in cloud, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, or related technologies preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable platforms.
- Lead reliability reviews and drive actions to improve system stability.
- Develop monitoring strategies and dashboards; manage SLIs/SLOs/Error Budgets.
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on CI/CD and IaC initiatives.
- Lead major incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Drive automation to eliminate operational toil and improve efficiency.
