Job summary

PNC's Site Reliability Engineering Center seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead a daylight shift across mission-critical platforms powering digital experiences. Based at one of our IT Hubs (Cleveland, Birmingham, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Denver or Phoenix), you will guide a team to deliver reliability, automation, and proactive issue resolution.

You will drive incident management, production support, and RCA initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, and champion a blameless culture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or SRE management.
• Experience leading on-call teams and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage SRE teams; set goals and drive ownership with cross-functional partners.
• Provide after-hours leadership and on-call support during incidents.
• Lead incident management and RCA efforts for major incidents.
• Provide technical leadership in production support across apps, infra and data stores.
• Drive problem management and permanent fixes to reduce recurring issues.
