Job summary

DAT Freight & Analytics is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our SRE platform team. This hybrid role can be based in Seattle or Portland and focuses on reliability, scalability, and automation across cloud infrastructure.

You will design, implement, and operate scalable systems, improve monitoring with Datadog, and drive adherence to SRE best practices. Collaboration with development teams and platform architects is essential for steady growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in SRE or Platform Engineering roles.
• 2 to 4+ years industry experience.
• At least 1 year of traditional software engineering; TS/JS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable systems.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems to minimize downtime.
• Advocate for SRE best practices: automation, monitoring, incident response.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with platform architects and development teams to scale the platform.
