Job summary
Anduril Industries is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer 2 to join the Production Engineering team. You will build resilient, highly available systems powering Lattice, work with platform engineers and field ops, and help teams improve reliability through tooling, runbooks, and process improvements.
This hands-on role requires strong incident management and collaboration to support national security missions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering
- 2–4 years engineering, incl. 2+ years SRE/infra
- Hands-on Kubernetes in production
- Proficient in Go, Python, Rust, or Java
- Experience with observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog
- Cloud experience: AWS/Azure/GCP, Terraform
- U.S. Person and ability to obtain Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Build monitoring, observability, and alerting for Lattice platform
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident triage
- Draft blameless postmortems and drive improvements
- Develop shared reliability tooling and automation
- Define SLOs and error budgets with service owners
- Support secure deployment practices and progressive rollouts
- Collaborate with software teams on reliability patterns
- Contribute to capacity planning and performance testing
- Create runbooks and training materials
- Improve deployment safety and rollback capabilities
