Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Site Reliability Engineer 2 to build resilient, scalable systems powering Lattice. You will work with platform engineers and field operations to identify reliability risks, respond to incidents, and improve operational excellence.

This hands-on role opportunities to develop shared tooling and processes to reduce toil and improve deployment safety. You will work on on-call rotations, contribute to postmortems, and ensure security controls for sensitive defense data,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
2-4 years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in SRE, production operations, or infrastructure engineering.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Kubernetes in production, with an understanding of version lifecycles, patching, and ongoing operational risks.

Responsibilities

Build and improve monitoring, observability, and alerting systems for the Lattice platform.
Participate in on-call rotations and coordinate incident response with owning teams.
Contribute to blameless postmortems and drive systemic improvements from incident learnings.
Create shared reliability tooling and automation to reduce toil and risk.
Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets with service owners.
