Job summary

Penn Mutual seeks a Sr. Manager, Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps) to lead a first-level team enabling secure, reliable software delivery across Penn Mutual's technology environment.

You will manage DevOps engineers supporting CI/CD platforms, automation, cloud enablement, release engineering, and developer tooling. As a technical leader, you will guide architecture, drive automation strategy, and partner with SRE, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering to improve delivery velocity,

Qualifications

10+ years in DevOps, SRE, or related field.
2+ years in people leadership.
Practical knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, cloud services, release engineering, and observability.
Experience with enterprise tech standards, governance, and risk.

Responsibilities

Lead engineers and set team goals and performance feedback.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release readiness.
Advise on automation, architecture, and security practices.
Collaborate with architecture, security, QA, and risk teams.
Drive continuous improvement and operational resilience.
