Job summary

SoftPro, the leading provider of real estate closing software, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Cloud Operations Team in Raleigh, NC, or remotely. You will focus on observability, SLIs, and building scalable cloud-based platforms.

You will develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible), automate CI/CD pipelines, support high availability, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve performance and reliability across Azure-based services.

Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code provisioning of Cloud resources and Terraform modules.
• Automation skills with PowerShell, AZ CLI, Ansible and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong Linux/Windows administration and familiarity with cloud compute workloads.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and cloud-native apps (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring/alerting platforms and HA/DR for cloud environments.
• Experience with IAM, RBAC, and security controls in cloud setups.

Responsibilities

• Produce and refine observability metrics for platforms and user experience.
• Refine service level indicators and proactive monitoring.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for alerting and monitoring.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support services.
• Triage incidents and support production reliability across cloud infra.
• Collaborate with product/engineering teams on architectural directions.
• Contribute to high availability and disaster recovery planning.
