Job summary

Ridgeline is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our mission-critical SaaS platform. You’ll partner with product and platform engineers to improve service reliability, accelerate velocity through automation, and build systems that are easy to operate from day one.

Our engineers work with cutting-edge technologies and focus on observability, release engineering, incident response, and automation.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of SRE/DevOps or related experience in a SaaS environment.
• 2+ years supporting mission-critical SaaS workloads on AWS.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, tracing, and diagnostics.
• Experience designing or improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, availability, and performance of the production platform.
• Build automation to increase velocity and reduce toil.
• Own production observability with metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerts.
• Design CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and progressive delivery.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets; manage reliability proactively.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response with minimal after-hours work.
• Lead blameless postmortems and drive long-term improvements.
• Collaborate on infrastructure design reviews for operable services.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform and AWS best practices.
