Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Operations is a strategic leader responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. This role leads cross-functional teams in responding to commercial opportunities, defining operational strategy, and overseeing the execution of high-impact projects. The SVP serves as a key member of the executive team, aligning operational execution with long-term business goals, while cultivating strong internal teams and external relationships.

Work Schedule: Day Shift
Competitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary minimum $101,000 plus a bonus opportunity. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations Leadership
- Define and implement strategic operational goals in alignment with company objectives.
- Co-develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy with executive leadership.
- Lead cross-functional responses to calls for tenders, ensuring compelling and competitive proposals.
- Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across new and existing markets.
Business Development & Offer Management
- Support business development efforts by participating in proposal presentations and defending technical and economic solutions.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to enhance commercial offerings.
- Ensure profitability and feasibility of operational proposals in alignment with company targets.
Customer & Supplier Relations
- Serve as the senior point of contact for key customer and supplier relationships.
- Lead high-level contract negotiations and manage escalations with professionalism and integrity.
- Build trust through regular engagement and effective communication.
Departmental & Team Leadership
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all teams.
- Hire, onboard, and mentor team members, ensuring alignment with organizational culture and goals.
- Establish succession planning and career development paths for team members.
Project & Program Management
- Lead the planning and execution of complex, high-impact projects across the organization.
- Define project scope, objectives, resource needs, and success criteria.
- Chair project steering committees and working groups to drive outcomes.
- Monitor progress, control budgets, and ensure deliverables meet organizational standards.
Budget & Performance Oversight
- Allocate and manage budgets for operational initiatives and departments under your leadership.
- Measure performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure operational initiatives deliver strong ROI and align with business objectives.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 15+ years of progressive leadership in operations, including executive-level experience
- Proven success in leading large-scale teams and high-value projects
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive transformation
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
