Job Responsibilities
- Establish strategies and ensure that there is a risk control management system for safety, health, work environment, and company asset protection.
- Take the necessary initiatives and actions to realize operations that meet and achieve the safety, health, environmental, and asset protection goals set by the company.
- Establish strategies, carry out supervision, and ensure that the transportation/sale of ore is achieved according to the set targets.
- Structure the organization to support operations flexibly and efficiently.
- Synergize support divisions such as infrastructure, HR-GA, Commercial, Logistics, IT, and Forestry to support operations effectively and efficiently.
- Work with the commercial team to monitor and control costs and take necessary actions to achieve cost-efficient operations.
- Collaborate with the HR team to determine required team competencies and carry out employee development to support operations.
- Lead the operations team in executing strategic initiatives identified in the operations area.
- Lead continuous improvements to make operations safer, compliant with standards, increase performance and productivity, or reduce costs while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
- Graduate (S1) majoring in Mine Engineering, Geology, Geodetic, or Civil Engineering.
- More than 20 years of experience in the mining industry (Nickel, Coal, Copper, Gold).
- Holder of Primary Operational Supervisor (POU) certificate issued by the Ministry of Resources and Minerals - government.
- Proficient in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong business strategy and improvement approach.
- Ability to adapt to work in remote sites.
Additional Information
- Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off.
- Permanent employment with a 3-month probation period.
- Direct reporting to the President Director.
- Indirect reporting to CEO, COO, and Executive Chairman.
- Leading approximately 1000 employees, including contractors.
