Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Four years related experience or two years as an underwriter; E&S/S experience preferred.
• Knowledge of underwriting policies, rating plans, and reinsurance concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with brokers and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Review risks for acceptability and determine pricing and coverage.
• Analyze loss history and endorsements to address exposure.
• Manage broker relationships and marketing to achieve production goals.
• Coordinate with reinsurance placements when appropriate.
• Review policy changes and endorsements and respond to mid-term requests.
