The Sr. Staff R&D Engineer will be a key contributor within BD Medication Delivery Solutions, Injection Systems team. The individual in this position will possess extensive technical expertise and a broad understanding of related disciplines, developing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges through the regular application of ingenuity and creativity. He/she will provide technical and project leadership for cross‑functional product development initiatives, coordinating activities across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and external partners to ensure successful execution from concept through commercialization. The individual will play a leading role in the development, integration, analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of medical devices used for the preparation and delivery of parenteral and enteral medications. Experience with elastomeric materials and components, including their design, characterization, manufacturing processes, performance evaluation, and integration into medication delivery systems, is highly desirable.
