Qualifications

• Requires extensive technical expertise across multiple disciplines and ability to lead complex product development initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and external partners.
• Proven track record in development, integration, testing and continuous improvement of medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to achieve desired technical, project, and business outcomes.
• Provides technical and project leadership for complex product development and lifecycle management initiatives, developing project strategies, aligning cross-functional teams, managing technical risks, and driving execution to meet program objectives.
• Serves as an organizational spokesperson on advanced projects and programs. Acts as an advisor to management, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders on complex technical, product development, and research-related matters.
• Applies advanced engineering principles, theories, and concepts across multiple disciplines. Contributes to the development of new technologies, methodologies, and design approaches. Solves unusually complex technical problems with highly innovative and effective solutions.
