Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a Site Reliability Engineer for the Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) platform. You will apply SRE practices to data pipelines and BI services, establishing SLIs/SLAs, dashboards, and runbooks while guiding incident response and automation.

You will collaborate across data engineering, security, governance, and cloud teams to improve reliability, performance, and cost management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and five to seven years in tech/engineering.
• Experience with data and analytics platforms, BI services, and cloud ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Perform reliability and operational engineering for the EDA platform.
• Establish SLIs/SLAs, error budgets, monitoring, dashboards, and runbooks.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, security, governance, and infra teams to improve design and production readiness.
