Ladders is seeking a Sr Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer to join a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. You will design and deliver scalable digital capabilities, work across the stack with TypeScript, React, and Go, and partner with platform teams to shape shared services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience including ownership of production systems at scale.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React with strong backend experience in Go.
• Deep understanding of system design, API architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Proven success in a DevOps/self-service environment with product teams owning their infrastructure.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.

This role will drive the design and delivery of scalable digital capabilities that support core business operations and enhance the experience for internal teams and customers. You will work across the stack to build reliable, production-ready systems, while partnering closely with platform teams to shape shared services and technical standards. The position also includes opportunities to influence AI-enabled product capabilities and help advance a self-service engineering model across the organization.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of full-stack systems using TypeScript, React, and Go
• Own complex enterprise application development initiatives, including custom applications and integrations
• Drive adoption of self-service platform capabilities and establish team standards
• Partner with central platform teams to provide feedback and influence roadmaps
• Lead the development of AI product capabilities, ideally leveraging AWS Bedrock
• Ensure production readiness for services, focusing on observability, reliability, security, and performance
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and technical guidance
