Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a Sr Site Superintendent to oversee the safe, timely, and high‑quality execution of major data center construction projects.

You will lead field operations, coordinate with trade partners, and drive project success in a dynamic environment that values excellence, diversity, and veteran contributions. You will develop staffing plans, preside over weekly meetings, and ensure schedule adherence, quality control, and strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years in construction, including Division 2–10 trades.
• 3+ years in data center or mission-critical environments preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Project.
• Experience with Yardi, Procore, and Prolog preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for one or multiple data center buildings, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to achieve project milestones.
• Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with contracted scopes of work and safety standards.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and address any non-compliance issues.
• Identify and resolve conflicts in construction progress, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Maintain detailed daily logs of jobsite activities and ensure the site remains clean and organized.
• Conduct regular site walks to monitor progress and assist in planning future activities.
• Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work and address issues.
• Develop and implement recovery plans to address schedule slippage and ensure project milestones are met.
• Forecast manpower requirements and develop staffing plans for superintendents and field teams.
• Lead shutdown and energization planning, including MOP reviews and utility outage coordination.
• Coach and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Superintendents, supporting their professional development.
• Complete punch list identification and ensure timely completion of all project deliverables.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management, consistent with the role.

• Ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously and coordinate diverse teams.

• Physical ability to perform site duties, including standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working both indoors and outdoors.
