Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Developer in Madison, WI to design, build, and optimize ITSM capabilities across incidents, problems, changes, requests, and knowledge management.

You’ll lead integrations with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP, manage CMDB relationships, and ensure data quality while aligning with ITIL processes. The role demands 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, strong scripting via JavaScript, and experience with Service Catalog, Flow

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support ServiceNow ITSM capabilities, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, import sets, and transform maps.
• Support CMDB data quality and relationships used by ITSM processes, collaborating with asset management and discovery teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, recommend solutions, and estimate development effort.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues, improve performance, and resolve production defects.
• Build and enhance Service Catalog items, record producers, approval processes, and automated fulfillment workflows.
• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and other platform components using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.
• Support testing, releases, platform upgrades, and remediation of skipped changes.Apply platform development standards, access controls, and security practices appropriate to an insurance environment.

Sr. ServiceNow Developer

Primary Location: Madison, WI

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sr. ServiceNow Developer for our premier client in Madison, WI.

Education and Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
• Experience with update sets, application deployment, testing, and platform upgrades.

Knowledge and Experience

• Strong experience implementing and enhancing ServiceNow ITSM in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and integration development.
• Working knowledge of CMDB concepts, configuration item relationships, and their role in Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Strong understanding of ITIL service management processes.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency with JavaScript, server-side and client-side scripting and ServiceNow APIs.
